The Centenary Challenge is an annual competition in which our two Intraclub teams the Whitefriars and the Greenfriars compete for the honour of winning our 100 year old trophy.

The challenge is eagerly anticipated and supported every year and gives a brilliant opportunity for new and not so new players to get involved. The Challenge features a minimum of 11, hard fought games and though competition is fierce, the matches are characterised by their sportsmanship, good humour and fair play. As club Chairman and Whitefriars Captain Pat Veasey says “we play as two teams but never forget that we are one club.” If you’d like to get involved in the Challenge contact Pat or 3rd Team Captain Kev Chester via our “contact us” link on this website.
