Greenfriars 2 Whitefriars 1 It’s back! The long awaited Centenary Challenge returned in style as the 2 Nuns’ intraclub teams met for game 1 in the battle for the coveted 100 year old trophy. The Whites started strongly and after a series of attacks, forced a penalty corner. The Greens defenders denied the Whites a clear shot on goal but it the melee, veteran Pat Veasey found the back of net to give the Whites the lead.
