The freezing cold December weather could not blunt the competitive edge as the two Nuneaton teams met again at Etone in the Centenary Trophy. Peter Dodds

Peter Dodds, an ex club captain and an honoury member of Nuneaton Hockey Club passed away on SUnday morning.   For those of you that knew Peter and the family you’d know the history of the Dodds family at Nuneaton Hockey Club. Whitefriars 2 – Greenfriars 1

Etone saw an epic inter club battle as 2 new badgers teams fought for supremacy. The Greenfriars scored first through Aamir Lockhat-Clegg, a lead which they held till half time despite continued pressure from the Whites. Open Day

Sunday 9th September, 10am – 1pm Whether you’ve never picked up a stick, not played in a few years or been out injured; everyone, any age is welcome to join this free event at Etone College. Summer Mixed Tournival

Lets start the season with a bang!   The mixed tournvial will take place at Etone Sports Centre on Saturday the 1st September, 10:00am – 1:00pm. All ages and abilities are invited to attend and we’ll be adding games for the juniors into the schedule. Training Restarts!

Ladies Training: 1s / 2s / 3s / 4s – 6:30 start.  The 3s / 4s will train till 8:00pm – 1s / 2s will train till 8:30pm Mens Training: All club training – 8:00pm – 9:30pm Social Hockey is still running from 6:00pm – 7:00pm on Wednesdays and 10:00am – 11:00am on Sundays.  This will contiune till Junior training starts in the September.

Sunday Hockey sees record numbers

The summer sessions on Sundays mornings and Wednesday evenings are proving to be popular. Patrick Veasey, men’s chairman said, ‘It’s great to see our “sessions proving so popular”. This weeks session saw 48 people attending. It’s proving a popular activity where families are coming to play together and have some fun and fitness.  Fancy a go then join us either on a Wednesday evening at 6:00 or a Sunday monring at 10:00.
