Sometimes the world can seem a very unfair place, no more so than today as we mourn the loss of Nikki Winchester who died last night aged just 51. “Winnie” as she was affectionately known, bravely struggled with illness for much of her life but never let it get in the way of her beloved hockey. A member of our club for over 30 years she fulfilled many roles: player, Captain, Chair person, but above all…friend.
