The freezing cold December weather could not blunt the competitive edge as the two Nuneaton teams met again at Etone in the Centenary Trophy.

The Greens, smarting from their earlier defeat were looking for revenge. Both teams started strongly but it was the Whites who opened the scoring with a rocketing short corner shot from Tait Shipman.

The second half saw end-to-end attacking play but it was the Greens who had the upper hand. Awarded a penalty stroke with 15 mins left to play, Aamir Lockhat-Clegg coolly stepped up and slotted the equaliser.

Both teams pushed hard for a winner but this time the honours were shared.
