50th CELEBRATION

A surprise was in store for Nigel Lawton when he turned up at Etone on Sunday morning - until he saw the "Happy 50th Birthday" balloons scattered around the side of the pitch!!

With due thanks to the organisation of the other recent Big 50 man, Paul Sidwell, we were able to put a full match on - to celebrate not just their birthdays, but also to thank them for all their efforts in what have been "a good few years" at the club.

For historical purposes, the match ended in a 4-3 win for Paul Sidwell's team.  Both sides have to be congratulated for the spirit and enthusiasm they showed throughout the game - making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience for everyone.
